Not the first time if my memory is right... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...l-star-Ray-Wilkins-charged-drink-driving.html
I got done for DUI/DWI many years ago(1977) in parliament square. Got a ears ban and a 100 quid fine. STUPID
yes he was a great player, terrible manager and now hes under a lot of stress will allegation about his sexualality, I think ray needs to come to terms with the fact he is gay, otherwise he wont stop drinking massive amounts of drink
arm well it certainly helped,me stop, but ray is not a very nice person and he hates himself for destroying our club
I'm a bit surprised as I would have never classed Wilkins as a drinker. Agree with you Ted, he got us relegated after selling Sir Les and then proclaimed we got a nice pitch out of the money. Totally unforgivable.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. My dog is gay. Only last week he came out and he and his male friend Stefan, spent the afternoon sniffing each others backside. Everyone seemed happy.
This is his third drink driving offence in 4 years. Whatever we may think of him (and as a player he was one of the best I've seen in an Rs shirt. Just a crap manager) he has a problem, poor bloke. Also an unpleasant chronic illness (same as Darren Fletcher), depression and the fact that no one will give him a job in club football........
3rd offence in 4 years..lock him up. He may be ill but you do not get behind the wheel of a car drunk and endanger other peoples lives
First up, he needs to be banned from driving. Second, he needs ongoing counciling and if he was to break the law by driving again, then lock him up. Until then, plenty of help, providing he will accept it.
Of course he needs help but clearly does not want it. Time in prison to dry out and get help before he kills someone
