It's topical and a sad inditement of what still exists in 2011. Not every post need be football-related.
You will always be cast as the 'Pantomime Villain' or at worse an 'out and out' racist by trying to defend any form of racism. Unless you take the moral high ground, by declaring outright and from the off, that racism in whatever form is wrong and unlawful. If you then make a statement to try and defend it, however well thought -out and logical, you will be wrong and shouted down. I know what your trying to say, and in this day and age, I applaud you for trying. We still have the freedom-of-speech, I think. Unless it's a comment pertaining to racism, however it was intended. It dosen't matter. All racism is wrong and un-lawful. I would not bother trying to refute this. You will be wrong.
I was kinda being sarcastic. I said I wasn't sure of it's relevance and then Watford tenuously brought it round to something slightly football related and so I said 'Now I see it'. Though I don't really, other than, as Watfords said, racism is a topical subject in football at the moment. But I guess North can post what he likes and to be honest we don't have to comment on or even read every thread if we don't want to. Whether every post needs to be football related on a QPR forum is a question I don't really know the answer to.
Saw this on the news this evening, minus the swear words and with toddler's face covered. Even Ed Milliband has commented, apparently. Its shocking, yes. And sad that these attitudes are back in the headlines again.
I'm ashamed to say I live near there. I've looked at the video several times and I recognise Beddington Lane. Whoever lives in South London or between Wimbledon and Croydon on the tram will now where I am talking about, not that it has any relevance.
maybe i'm being cynical but looks like a hoax to me.. out of work actress? mate with a mobile phone. borrowed child (note how dark she is and how blonde the kid is) the clip goes viral on You Tube and it is a nice little earner a small fine and a slap on the wrist they claim it is a publicity stunt for an edgy art project get loads of publicity and go on chat shows then again maybe they are not that clever!

The clip, viewed more than two million times since being uploaded to YouTube on Sunday, shows a woman sitting with a child, shouting at fellow passengers. The incident happened on the Croydon-to-Wimbledon Tramlink route. Emma West, 34, of New Addington, Croydon, is accused of a racially-aggravated public order offence.
