I've had time to stand back and reflect on the weekend, and would like to say the following :- Firstly, I apploud the thousands of Leeds fans that came down to the south coast over the weekend You deserve much much more. Brown put himself about a bit (as he does), though the Saints players were falling like dominoes, and gave away far too many set pieces. We have two of the best wide men in the division, though saints were able to command the midfield with relative ease in the middle of the park, I think howson was playing too far forward leaving Brown and Clayton chasing shadows. We can't do much up front with both Becchio and Somma out for god knows how long, but McCormack is not a centre forward, I would have played Gradel up front with Sam or Nunez up on the wing. I think AOB has slowed down significantly in the last six months, and Kisnorbo is not strong enough to support him. Can't believe we hav'nt sorted out our full back problems, I don't think O'Dea will set the world alight, and the fact we hav'nt tried to sign Lichaj speaks volumes. If I were Grayson, I would bring Radebe to the club as a defensive coach, he loves Leeds.
i think thats a fantastic idea to bring radebe to the club, dont think it'll happen though. I applaud how calmly this thread is, im struggling to discuss the game on the weekend without getting frustrated or angry. I do think we need a forward or play 4-4-2. The only thing i will say is that howson i thought was our best player (not to say he played exceptionally well though) on the weekend when he was further forward (which is where he would've been instructed to play) he just ghosts into positions and finds so much time on the ball, that is a sign of a real class player, however i think leeds as a team looked better when brown came off and howson dropped back into central midfield, allowing clayton more time on the ball. I seem to share very different views on that game on the weekend though to everyone else
Ive said all summer people can't have watched brown play before if they think he's a tough tackler. He's never ever been able to tackle. It was shocking how bad he was
Agreed, when Brown came off we played better, actually the last 15 mins, we were the better side .......................................... Nothing to do with 3 goals down and the game being over and them just sitting back then? Why would they push for more at 3-0 up?

I think you'll find that professional athletes will keep pressing til the final qwhistle goes. Davies seemed most upset that he did'nt keep a clean sheet (which seemed a little disrespectable towards Leeds). Anyway, Southampton must have been tired after all that falling over
