. . . make this forum work so damned well! Moderators past and present, you do a great job; thank you and all of the best for the future!
Thank you for everything you have contributed to this board over the last year. Good luck with your battle with dementia which you are clearly losing. Hang on in there.
You misunderstand me, B2W, I was merely trying for irony. I have learned a lot about City from this forum. Indeed, I have learned a lot about football. And I thank all for that education. I do try to make (football-based) threads which will, hopefully, draw out information from which I might benefit. Other than that, I would reckon to post an overwhelming percentage of 'O/T' threads - some of which kick off debates/discussions/battles; some of which cater to minority interests; and some of which merely allow for the letting-off of exhuberant comedic steam. Should you, B2W, regard that as being evidence of a 'battle with dementia', then I suggest you re-start your medical training. Other than that - piss off and Happy Christmas.
Seems like a good mix of people doing it. For me this is the best Hull City site I've seen with all sides of the arguments and people respecting it and not getting carried away, see too many mad rants online from keyboard warriors on a lot of sites
Rather than start a new thread, this seemed like an appropriate one to tell this little story. When handing out the Christmas presents from under the tree yesterday, I handed my 10 year old grandson one of his gifts which was a framed team picture of the Sydney Swans who won this years AFL premiership. (We live in Melbourne, a long way from Sydney but he follows his Dad's team). Anyway, as I handed it to him, he excitedly said, "I bet this is a Hull City photo." Well of-course it wasn't but I now know what to get him for his birthday. Looks like the indoctrination is starting to pay off! Like other posters on this thread, I also really enjoy coming on this site and keeping up with news and rumours and testing out our various "expert" theories. Merry Christmas to all. C'mon the Tigers!
This time tiger, you should be handing a photo of Richmond ,AFL, who are called the Tigers. My team in the AFL. Anyway i take this opportunity of thnking people i met in August at the pub in the games before Brighton and Bolton. Good luck v Leicester and give them hell 3-0 will do me.As they say in the AFL eat them alive Tigers.
Hey Melbourne! yeah we had a ball in the Avenues before the Brighton game didn't we. Hope you had a good christmas and maybe we can meet up again in May for the playoff final if we dont manage an automatic spot
Thanks John and appreciate your hard work in organising etc, doubt i will be back in May but definitely next season .
