Since when did John Terry become a qualified referee!!??

Unfortunately I think Halsey and the lino had Chelsea strips on underneath which was never going to help us.

Away from that, the best team won on the night. Cannot fault the lads' effort and commitment but Chelsea were much better than us in the second half. Although we conceded 4, I cannot really fault our defence tonight, Bramble and Anton dealt well with Drogba and co. A solid debut for Sess, showed some classy touches and looks like he's got pace to burn. Can't wait to see him in a month when he's 100% fit. Two real let downs for me were Elmo and Jordan. Elmo can run at defenders with pace, but his final product is poor. Also the hoofing it to him worked for the first 10 minutes against Cole but once they put Mikel on him it didn't. Almost forgot about the penalty too (silly silly decision from him) Jordan again looked lost in the middle, he definately needs a ball winner like Catts or Muntari next to him. I'd stick him on the wing with Muntari in the middle for saturday.

On a final note, take a bow Phil Bardsley my player of the season so far.
