Hi I am writing to personally thank you all so much for your very kind generousity in regard to the Oskar Pycroft appeal yesterday. You will delighted to know that Rovers supporters, and some very kind donationations from Torquay fans, means we raised £4,198.39 at the match. This, together with money from the Supporters Club Quiz Night and the donation from the Fans Forum means Rovers fans have donated in excess of £4,650. That is amazing! I would also like to thank Mark and Olivia Dean, Lewis Cosway, Ian Smith, Nigel Holbrook, Chris Walker and my daughter Nikki who helped Oskar's team collect. Also to everyone at BRFC and BRSC and Fans Forum who offered tremendous help in supporting all these activities. best wishes Brian SS
Well done to all those who have donated and helped in anyway. You all are changing this lads life. Rivalries are out the window which is the right thing.

Statement from Mr Higgs..... Nick Higgs said: “I would like to thank all our supporters, and those of Torquay, who gave so generously for Oskar‘s operation. This money, together with the Supporters’ Club quiz night and a donation from the fans forum, means the total donations from Bristol Rovers fans is in excess of £4,650, and I know this will greatly help boost Oskar’s operation appeal. It is only right that there should be rivalry in Bristol, which is all part of the excitement of football. However, what is even more important is that football is very much a family. It is at times like this that two football families in Bristol have rightly come together to support Oskar to help him walk. We wish the youngster every success with the operation ahead.”
The way both clubs have rallied round Oskar is a good news story - the sort of thing that Sky Sports loves - don't know how to get the story to them, but more publicity would help the cause?
