I have a QPR mug which stays at work. Got in today to find it has been broken. The last time I had a mug that got broken at work was when we got relegated 2 seasons ago. Just saying....
Can we skip the next 31 matches and just opt for relegation now? Then get on with the rest of our lives, chastened and with expectations permanently lowered. Only joking, it's ridiculous to give up this early. ****ing tempting though, especially if we can blame a mug.
Love the last line. I do wish I had some Hanna-Barbers merchandise just so I could retire the Droopy mug.
I still have some Warnock mugs bought 6 at 89 pence each to use at work would you like me to send you a replacement toadie
You can pick a new mug from one of these. please log in to view this image (Please note you can't buy a Simpson, Remy or Cesar mug as they have been dropped already.)
I'm a great believer in these sort of things. I've accidentally worn my unlucky boxer shorts watching our away games this season and every time we've been sh*t. I don't believe in coincidences.
It's all about the number of hoops, the more hoops the ****tier the team, how many this year? 7 when relegated 2 year ago, 3 when promoted last year
Can I suggest a few new additions to the range:- The Rio mug - strangely only available from all good bookshops. The YSY magical mug - gets dropped and then there's no sign of its existence (except a vague memory from the not too distant past). The Joey mug - does what you want it to do pretty effectively but still leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste (although that fades with time). The new team mug - cracks are appearing and only available from the joke shop. The Isla mug - brought in to do the specific job of carrying liquid but currently being used as a door stop.
Forget about the player mugs ............. it is us the fans that are the real mugs. Were the only loyal ones.
I got a Gino, Kevin Gallen, Tony Thorpe, Marc Bircham mug. maybe if I finally scrape the tea stains from the inside it might help. See what Glen makes of the pattern the bits make when I tip it on the floor.
