Szczesny - 5. Got caught in no mans land for the Boateng Goal, could do nothing against the others. Sagna - 3. Terrible, no need to keep going on Koscielny - 7. Our Motm. Had to repeatedly tidy up others errors. Did a decent job with the milan attacking threats. Vermaelen - 3. His worst ever game in an Arsenal shirt. Could do nothing right. Gibbs - 5. Started off shaky, didn't play too badly, wasn't helped by Vermaelen being atrocious. Song - 4. Offered nothing. didn't protect the back 4, which is his job. Arteta - 4. See Song Ramsey - 0. At times it looked like he was deliberately being rubbish. Walcott - 3. Did nothing of note. Rosicky - 4. Better than Walcott, but didn't do much anyway. Passing sideways and slicing shots doesn't win you matches. RvP - 6. Fed off scraps, but still dangerous. Forced Abbiati into action with a neat shot. Djourou -4. Better than Vermaelen, but massively inferior to Koscielny. There's no doubting who Arsenal's number 1 CB is now. Henry - 5. lifted the team briefly, and one nice piece of play with RvP. The Ox - 5. made the team livelier, didn't threaten as much as normal.
Ramsey and walcott. What do they have to do to get dropped? O but walcott got 4 assists vs 10 man blackburn rovers. I forgot he is a god. Walcott needs selling.
shezny= 0, he did nothing all game but pick the ball from the back of the net or give away stupid goal kicks, the third goal by robinho was saveable, and he should have done better with the second. Gibbs: 5, not bad in his first game in months. TV: 3, dreadful today. Kosh: 6, steady for most of the time. Sagna: 5, so-so. Song: 3, did not protect nothing, and got a booking. Arteta: 4, nothing much really. Ramsey: 0, same old Ramsey. Walcott: -10, what a useless player he was today, weak, pathetic, and no commitment at all. Rosicky: -10, is he an agent in disguise to hurt us? everytime he game the ball away in the middle it would lead to a Milan goal. RVP: 6, not a stunning game, but had two good chances, a good shot, and header. OXO: 6, nothing much. Henry: 6, same as above, but at least showed he cares. Djoure: 1.
Szczesny - 5 Sagna - 5 Koscielny - 7 Vermaelen - 3 Gibbs - 5 Arteta - 5 Song - 3 Ramsey - 2 Rosicky - 5 RVP - 6 Walcott - 4 Subs: Djourou - 5 Henry - 6 Chamberlain - 6
and what's up with Vermaelen and slipping, he is ALWAYS constantly slipping in games, what the f-ck is he playing at? this is what i am always saying arsenal constantly do stupid small mistakes, but if you keep doing it over and over you will eventually be punished, example, Vermaelen slipping again.
It is really really weird how both of them keep on getting regular games, I can't remember the last time either of them played really well.
Got to give the pitch a 10/10, disgraceful that UEFA would deem the pitch acceptable for a Champions League match to be played on. Was completely clear that they grubbed up the wings to halter Walcott and OXO's progress when they would be on the pitch. Disgraceful tactics, but it helped them get the win.
I disagree with most here and think rosicky is decent if he had a decent run in the side. I would pick this team (with everyone fit) schez sagna TV Kol Santos Song Arteta Rosicky (wilshire when back) Oxo RVP Gervinho I think wenger will pick this team when gervinho comes back. I hope so anyway. Not dropping walshadow would be a disaster when we have oxo and gervinho
Good pitch imo might of been 6-0. They played all the football. And I doubt they were concerned with walcott. Their defence has serious pace
Rosicky was one of the better players for me, but as we all know he is not a LM so why play him there ??? He brings energy in a midfield that has slow ponderous passers of the ball in Arteta (who actually passed the ball far quicker last night than normal), song and Ramsey. I like Rosicky and he needs to stay with us, one of the few quality players we have. Koscielny was at fault for the first goal, it was he who let Boateng run free and collect the ball - NOT Vermaelen. Totally Koscielny's fault. Djourou is a clumsy oaf and I am not surprised he gave away the penalty. Why is it always the same culprits ?? He should've showed Ibrahimovic down the line onto his left foot, narrowing the angle to goal and leaving no space to beat the keeper - but the muppet doesn't have a freekin clue.
