All I wish for is a squad that can compete and bring us back some respectibilty. I truly believe that DM is our long term solution and will use his football expertise to bring in players that will play HIS way and become regular contributors to our future success. Rather than sitting back and bemoaning the inevitable failures of the previous managers I will stay positive and believe in DM and our future. Long may he reign!
My wish list goes like this, One tall quality defender, thats good with both feet, One quality attacking, defending midfielder. And like DM, i would like to see a tall striker, better than we have now, problem with that is, they are very hard to find. But ultimately my wish is for us to stay in the championship, so lets all have a great Christmas, and a very successful New Year.
New Ground New Chairman new sponsorships New Keeper to replace James or get him to take 75% pay cut New centre defender with good positioning skills and can tackle (and leadership) New Left back New Right back New creative midfielder that can also score goals New attacking left winger with much flair and pace and can hit the target New striker (billy sharp has a release clause of £3m) to replace maynard New Pies and cheaper prices or put a subways in the ground selling at subway prices new dancers at half time and get rid of half the squad to free up space for new players and reduce the wage bill. I'd be happy if I get one of those.
