I hope you'll allow me a little personal celebration lads and lasses. My youngest, who quite a few of you have met, played in a U14s Cup Semi-Final this morning. It was a thrilling game that ended 4-4 with his side scoring an equaliser in the last minute of extra time. So it was penalties!! After taking 5 each, the teams were level. Then after a couple more penalties each the scores were still even. Then the opposition missed one and up stepped my lad to tuck the winning penalty into the corner!! Get in there Son, get in there!!
Get in THERE RangerWill! Attaboy. We needed someone with a bit of oomph to step to the mark for a change. Great news!
Tell Will big up from Pattie and me son Dee too (who've also met him). Just told them in a dramatic story-telling kind of a way. (Gripping stuff stylee!) They whooped it up in the end!!
You never know Col, one day he might turn pro and sign for Norwich? What a dilemma! Well done to the lad
Treasure it Col, you'll remember it long after Will has forgotten. Although I still sometimes dream about a goal I scored in 1984.....
well done col jr! I'd like to say sign him up for us but our track record for bringing kids through the ranks is abysmal.. so sign for brentford!!
