I love life in the fast lane I do, up at 4 this morning, no, no nothing to do with the bladder, her down the road is off to Cyprus, again, third month running so its airport run for me.

Still to take Osca out, hell on if I drag him from hid bed this early so it will be a quick drag round the park at 5 before picking Mrs S up.

What the “F” does this have to do with football, well in truth, not lot but there you go.

It will of course mean I will be able to devote the rest of my week to our game on Saturday, free from Tesco, hairdresser or major household disasters. A light bulb blew on Monday so all had to stop while I dealt with this major project, when did household jobs become projects?

I am of course still on 24/7 call for Osca, one never knows when a chicken breast may be needed but he does sleep a lot, little old man now.

Am I alone in struggling to get going for this weekend, a distinct lack of excitement in the air, a feeling that nervous tension may replace eager anticipation, that dread just after 2 when we await the team announcement.

At least hurdle number one seems to have been safely negotiated with no reports of career threatening injuries to our international players, will we really have two proper strikers to chose from, well choice may be the wrong word, 2 needed from 2 does not seem like choice.

I read yesterday how everyone wants Richardson moved to the left wing with Sess moved right to cover for Larsson, makes sense so that wont happen then.

We all know it will be Elmo on the right, O'Shea is back, maybe him on the left wing, I think that he and maybe Gordon have still to be tried there.

I'm off to take my morning medication now so who knows, when I write again it may well make sense and be, in the main, football related, then again, never managed it before so why should I now?

Maybe she's house viewing, and getting everything sorted for your big move?

We are going to have our best performance of the season against Fulham, and beat them by at least 2 goals...<party>

i can think of at least one Dempsey I'd be a bit wary of! Watch the first round of Jess Willard v Jack Dempsey (1919) on youtube - just a wall of unrelieved violence. I wouldn't give much for Wes Brown's chances if Jack was playing for Fulham!!!!!!

I'd leave Bardsley in the side and, as Bruce is praising Ricco it looks like Bardo Right and Ricco Left and hopefully O'Shea and Brown centre halves?? Anyone argue with that?

Hope to god he plays Bardsley at full back this weekend - O'shea has looked shakey at Right Back and might be good at Centre half - although back 5 looked good against Utd (Westwood was excellent - that save was world class - even Better than Gordon's against Bolton last season!)

    Westwood
    Bardo - Turner/O'Shea - Brown - Ricco
    TBC - Catteermole/Meyler - Vaughan - Sessegnon
    Ji - Bendtner

Not sure about right wing with Larsson being out - maybe play Elmo although I'm not his biggest fan he is fast as ****!!

Bruce is praising Ricco versatility, saying he is a good defender, but likes getting forward to....

Think Bruce should adopt a new tactic..

It stopped Messi from scoring anymore in the game, so should work against Dempsey and co..

    Give them a headache..
