Can we default on the FA Cup 3rd Round match In the last two seasons they have seriously derailed our season 2011 against Blackburn....Mackie broke his leg 2012 against MK Dons......Ale raptured his ligaments So putting out the juniors or the supporters club team would be a good tactical ploy please
If we are looking at another relegation struggle early January then I agree! If we are looking very safe then we should go out to win the FA Cup.
Won't we just wheel Dyer onto the pitch in a wheel barrow, upturn it and leave him as the sacrificial lamb? I assume that must be the reason we gave him a new contract.
We could volunteer a Not606 team to play in the R's place, we could nominate the 'sacrificial lamb', how about Cerny?...
I'd love a cup run of some sort. I don't think I've ever seen us get beyond the fourth round as I was too young for that Wimbledon game around 1995.
So we do a job on Cerny, he ends up in traction and then we spoon feed him testicles from the hospital canteen? I know the food for the sick and infirm is bad but never know it was that bad....
I followed the boys to every game during our 1981/82 cup run all the way to Wembley (twice) Fantastic cup run, atmosphere was incredible, especially Palarse, Wubba and the Replay, but now the cup has lost its gloss which is a great shame but I agree if we are in a good position come January we should have a go as success breeds success and doing the double would be nice
Barton will be back. So there is an upside to our midfielders getting injured. These things usually happen in threes.
Soon enough we will be playing a youth side in the comp, so wont be an issue for long Next season I have a feeling we will do well in one of the cups...no idea why, just a hunch - guess I should sit up straight!
I suspect that this would only work for Cerny if the match was on a Thursday. And judging by last year's scheduling of FA Cup matches, I'd say there's a good chance of this happening!
Good old Walkie! I think he would brighten these threads no end. It was a pity he didn't migrate across. Perhaps we should put out a missing persons call for a mid-thirties Phil Babb lookie-likie postman from Leicester - usually found on his round 'Walk Number 53'. I loved reading his off-the-wall posts and following his on-line romance with QPRMadLisa until it was rumbled!
I was selected and scored for them a few times. He used to pick himself and his doppelgänger - Walk54. And if I'm not mistaken, they had some on-the-field argument at one match.
