My how we`ve grown

I don`t know much (anything) about the players mentioned. It`s the first two words that made me smile, we`ve finally made it big, very big, in fact we are "giants".

Well we are Giants compared the our little cousins up the road!...................

That's an interesting bit? sure sums up our issues at the back, take the midfield forward, and they leak like hell, good to see that Laudrup is on the money though!...........

 

Its no suprise Laudrup is looking at defensive cover... Giants eh??

 

Dingsdag? Hmm, well his contract wasn't renewed by his Dutch club in 2010 so he moved to a somewhat modest Swiss club. Doesn't seem to have the credentials to be a Premier League centre back for me, especially when you think of the quality he will be up against. Bargains are one thing but signing, with respect to him, journeymen isn't the way forward in my opinion, particularly when we could afford a reasonable fee for a decent player.

Maybe Laudrup's scouting system thinks he could be useful; maybe it's just gossip but I think there are better players out there for us. There's 60 million quid riding on existing and incoming players, so we need to be sure they will be up for the job.
