This time last year you unsettled Kenwyne Jones......but what goes around, comes around... I'm made up for the lot of yer...I actually hope he stays; then he can play like a plonker and upset the 'Dalglish Revival' (whatever that load of rollocks is) just like Kenwyne did before we got rid of him. Looking forward to seeing the burning Torres effigies from the loyal Scouse supporters, just like they did with that other over-rated leg-end, Gerrard. Enjoy the rest of your season
What made me laugh was when they were saying Hodgson was to old! So they get someone 3 years younger. Or calling for the fat Spanish waiter back? The man who single handedly brought their club to its knees. As for Gerrard love him or hate him he is damn good at football.
I try to show my support for all the lower teams from Liverpool down. I also enjoy looking at the table and having a good laugh.
I have memories of 1992 after the cup final, as a young un walking out of wembley in tears. What made it worse was the liverpool fans werent bothered about winning the cup - they were only bothered about getting into Europe the next season. I will always remeber that.... I wont shed any tears for them to be honest
I am telling you all now lads, down here in the Pool the Kopites are ****tin themselves. They re all convinced that Mr Torres is on his way and declaring how outragious it is that he 's off to Chelsea.Yes the same bloody mob that had a pop at me over the Bent transfer (stating that he had every right to go to a bigger club !!!!!). Trust me lads Kopites are no lovers of SAFC. On the other other hand the real scouseres over at Goodison do have a genuine fondness for us. Ive tried reminding the Kopites that not everything that comes out of Holland works.......ie Alves...lol
the form torres is in if they get anywhere near ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã50m it would be quite staggering imo
Who gives a monkey's whether Torres goes or stays?I'm a Sunderland fan,so only one club concerns me!!But,like DB,these overpaid footballers are just mercenaries.Agents seem to unsettle players just to get a cut from the transfer fee. What price for loyalty??
Me too mate. Was in a pub in St Albans with a load of scousers after the '92 final and some of them were giving it the 'no big deal, we're used to this' routine. Arrogant bastards. It wasn't even a wind-up, they really felt that way. Not all of them to be fair, but most gave the impression of having some divine right to win trophies....
Sure I read somewhere today that Liverpool would use Torres money to go after Young at Villa. Now wouldn't that be funny for Judas and his big ambitious club.
Was always chuffed to see a British team doing well in Europe and fairplay to Liverpool F.C. they have a magnificent history. Always believed mind that in the long run what goes round comes round. I can remember when Liverpool were languishing in the old Second Division and it took Shankley to make something of them. They may find it very hard to return to former glories. But theres a lesson for all of us lads, let's not forget our years of failure and if we have any success with trophies lets conduct ourselves with modesty and a bit of good will to fans of other clubs.
LFC is on the slide, and we are on the up. They believe they have some divine right to be in the top 4, but look at the past two seasons, what have they done? Torres is on his way out, and IMO, Kenny should let him go. Why should a top class striker stay at a club thats sliding down when he can go and win trophies elsewhere? Does anyone think that if suddenly Man U weren't hitting the top 8 of the prem, Rooney, Berba, Hernandez, in fact all of their lot, Nani and Anderson would stay? Not a chance.
