I wasn't there but heard the game on the player. What is going wrong? The only player which seems to be missing now since the good run is Sandell, who was top scorer before Rendell took over. Is he the missing link?
I agree, listened in too and truly awful. Time to get some of the youngsters in? Only saving grace is all the others around us lost/drew.
Just got back from the worst game ive seen this season!!! Even with an extra player we looked the weaker side. We were out powered on and off the ball and stevenage deserved the amount of yellows and the red card. Nikki Bull deserved man of the match and is a real rock for us, a great reaction save in the box saved us from going 0-2 (and another save which was a scramble which I think he pushed onto the post) However wycombe wanted to work the ball out of defence but we were just playing the ball backwards. Marvin was the only full back pushing up out of defence and as for our attack we just couldnt break the defence, even when JP came on I didnt see him touch the ball for 5 mins and even when chasing the ball didnt really make the desired impact. What has pissed me off most about this match was our lack of attack. We had like 25 mins to make them pay with an extra player and couldnt get anywhere. Shaky passes up the pitch were not necessary when we could use the wings, we created a brilliant low dangerous cross but couldnt finish it!?!? Also we gave away a sting of corners, while a goal down and with an extra player why the **** did we have 10 men back???? The had two defenders on JP and one infront of him, one taking the corner and 5 around the box, while we had JP up and the rest in the box. Thats a 10v5 in the box and even then they got a wide swinger to the far post creating a dangerous header. Surely have your keeper, one on each post and 5 men marking their players in the box and one short. Why did we need to overpack our ow box leaving JP with 3 defenders when were a goal down......???? Anyway greatly dissapointed.
