Yes you are correct Shiny I have seen them loads, just happens to be when they was playing us But I have once been to see them when they have not been playing us, and back then to see Gary Liniker was what I went for, him and Alan Smith were getting rave reviews so I wanted to see them You went to see Rotherham bit of a difference

I also have to admit to watching the Gas on occasions Last time was a while back Oct/Nov 1977 from memory I was in London and Spurs had just signed Colin Lee from Torquay after we had let him go, and I wanted to see what the fuss was about him I seem to remember he scored 3 or 4 goals in a 9-0 hammering of the Gas (must have been OCT the then g/fs birthday was Oct I seem to remember, doesn't it get harder to remember dates as you get older? I remember we chanted that score at every GPFA cup match at Gasheads for a few years til we stuck 8 past them ourselves. Oh great days.
I cheered once when Rovers scored. It was when they were playing Watford in L1 when we and Watford were romping that league. We needed them to win so we could go top - and they scored - but ultimately lost. Strange - at Ashton Gate watching us play Southend and a cheer went up when the Gas scored. A rare phenomenon indeed!!!!
