Good morning bonny lads, and even bonnier lasses, hope I find you well this Friday morn?

Just back from the morning walk and god it’s nice out there today, I feel a good weekend coming with a certain 3 points, why certain, I don’t know, just feels right.

Over the last two games we have seen glimpses of what lies ahead, good fast flowing football. Good passing, ball control, moving into space and team work. With a week off to rest, soak up some sun, (do you think Sess and Muntari will have been decorating their new houses? That’s what I do when I move and have time), and a weeks solid training, the omens are good.

I don’t take Everton lightly but if we put aside records and past seasons and look at this season, surely we should win.

I neither have the cash nor the inclination these days for away games but must confess, I sort of wish I was going to this one. I know, I hear what you say, this is Sunderland and we always shoot ourselves in the foot.

Maybe its time for us supporters to move with the team! Maybe its time for us supporters to believe! Maybe this is our time!

Osca enjoyed his walk, he is back asleep now, hard bloody life he leads.

I think we're over our away hoodoo. I agree and I have a very good feeling about the Toffees game too - I think we're gonna win this one.

i have always believed syd even in the depths of the old div 3, i always knew that one day the club would be great again. i believed it then and i believe it even more now. we have a great set up and i think the supporters will return when the economy picks up and people have a bit more disposable income. in the mean time i will just keep taking my tablets and believing, i mean that's what football supporters do isn't it?

We all believe but only the older ones need the tablets, if you know what I mean

They've had a good break, loads of little niggleing injuries will have had time to clear up, they've been put though a weeks solid training, Sess & Muntari will be closer to match fitness and both straining at the leash to impress, Hendo has been rested and should get a chance in his preferred position out wide. If we can't go down there full of confidence after all that and take the 3 points then we never will.

    Everton 1 - 3 Sunderland (Ricco 1 - Gyan 2)
