    The twat that goes by the name Mark Lawrenson has predicted the following :

    Newcastle had a hard run of games where they faced the two Manchester clubs and Chelsea, managing only one point, then lost against Norwich to compound matters, and their extensive injury problems mean they look a completely different outfit from a few weeks ago.

    Swansea are a completely different animal at home to when they are away but Brendan Rodgers has got his team keeping the ball well.

    Prediction: 1-1

    Of course the fact that we are a team that can score goals against anyone, and the fact that Swansea concede loads of goals on the road, doesn't appeal to Lawro.

    Maybe but we only struggled in Aerial battles and if we have Colo back I don't see them hurting us as much.

    Thing is we only struggled at Norwich because of the chaos Holt was creating with his height. Swansea don't have that kind of big CF and don't usually score from set pieces.

    I agree however their style of play could confuse Perch!! However I am more confident if we get Colo back. We need that curly haired beast

    If Vorm is amazing again and we can't score, then concede another scrappy ****ey goal (see Hoolahan's, Hernandez's) then i think i'll die inside.

    They don't really make many quality passes though. I'm not saying it's easy to do what they do but their style of play doesn't really impress me that much. Arsenal's passing play is always quality, Swansea's is normally just simple passing.

    They have near 65-70% of possession but don't win many games.

    Your 1st Lawro thread? How have you managed to hold back so long? Thinking with Colo back and a more settled defence we'll have the confidence to play our usual game and get a result.

    What Lawro seems to miss is that Norwich took advantage of our lack of CB's in the air. Where as Swansea couldnt play direct to save their lives.

    Swansea will play into our hands by insisting on pass pass pass. This is what we want. We will outplay them and our makeshift CB's whoever they are, should be able to cope with Graham (not the best).

    He also seems to totally unrecognise Swansea's dyer away record this season (they are officially the worst team away from home http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/away.html) to our unbelievable impressive home record throughout the whole of 2011.

    But this is a good thing. Lawro predicts we wont win; so we do. Easy.
