I just went down the Cottage posing as a Fulham fan. They are only selling to Season Ticket holders or members. It is £30 quid to become a member so a ticket would still be £70. And i resent paying £65 to the spivs on ticket websites. But looking at their website a season ticket is £375 for the remaining 17 games.ie about £20 quid a game. I am tempted to scam it. I use the season ticket for our game-and suffer being surrounded by Hugh Grant lookalikes and toothless Tommy Trinders-then i am out of pocket by £300. I use it for the odd game when it dont clash with us or flog it to tourists or non QPR mates. The six big games should fetch £50 each and the rest is a bonus. I get it on my credit card and should at least break even. Probably end up earning on it! Except i dont want to give the dosh to the Egyptian. And i have shelled out over 2 grand on qpr season ticket for me and my 2 kids. But if i get £100 refund on these it would fund the Fulham investment. I am going down to see the Financial Adviser at the bank to see if it makes Economic sense. :shh:
This is hillarious! The things us fans will now go through to get a ticket. Lucky I got mine already or Ill be tempted to something equally as stupid! Ha ha ha. Not sure any of us bothered too much when we were in League 1 or the Championship playing Palace or Brentford away though. Although Brentford away was a great day out, especially when Birch scored that goal.
My financial gamble to get a free ticket for the Fulham game: I went into Carpet Right down in Tolworth and have ordered 4050 sq metres of cream shag and have given my address as Craven Cottage although this did raise an eyebrow ... " Are you sure you haven't over estimated for a cottage " idiots ... anyway it being delivered and laid on the 2nd October however they couldn't give an extract time but would let me know when its leaving the depot ... Here's the clever bit I nicked a pencil of the blokes desk and said I would meet them outside the cottage ... my idea is to past myself off as one of the carpet fitters. its cost me £60,750 at 15 quid a sq metre but i think it will work?
