It's painfully slow on here today (apart from the 'Ampfield' Thread ) However, everyone has an opinion on what their favourite things are in a number of different categories, so I thought I'd start a thread and give people the chance to eulogise about what's closest to their hearts. The categoties are as below: Favourite book Favourite film Favourite TV programme Favourite band/solo performer Favourite actor Favourite actress Favourite author Favourite meal You can only have one per category, although as it's my thread, I'm going to cheat on one of them as I can't split them apart. Isnt it weird how you can have a rough idea of peoples ages based on what answers they have put in this thread
Alien is right up there for me, but I think you knew that. I used to take the piss out people who raved about DiCaprio (mainly due to Titanic), but he is actually a very good actor.
Like pissing in the wind..... Also for those interested at all, Rendezvouz does deliver, not sure across the pond but worth a check..... http://hogsfly.com/
Tough to pinpoint one of each and if you ask me next week I'll probably have a different set of answers: Book...Papillion by Henri Charriere(sp) Film...The Shining or Get Carter Tv Programme...Match of the Day (but only the weekends we win ) Band...Can't decide on one but I'll just say The Prodigy as The Roses have had a few mentions already Actor...Jack Nicholson or Michael Caine Actress...Helen Mirren Author...Bernard Cornwell Meal...Sunday Roast (Beef or Lamb)
DayDoo. It doesn't mean I watched his films when they were newly released. They still show them now, you know
What ages have you got people down for then ? Here's what I'm thinking so far Bluff = mid twenties ? Jonesy = 30 ish Hash = mid 30s RHC = 120ish
haha, oldest man in the world! Smack on with me, maybe just a little higher but think of a footballers "prime" and you will probably get it.
