After what has a been a frustrating pre-season in the new player market imagine my surprise to wake up to an actual signing (right EH?). This made my 7:00 a.m. cup of coffee taste a whole lot better and it makes me wonder, in my usual skeptical way, whether this signing has been in the works for sometime or was it just a last minute thing? He has come from a good place and no doubt he will trigger memories of the last Spurs players in Danny Rose and Steve Caulker and they didn't do badly did they. Dare I have the audacity to congratulate all who made this deal possible? Well done City and let's get a win on the weekend because I don't want to go back to bad coffee. Cheers.
