Stick, I see they are planning to get your The New One out early this term. He’s an intended runner against Rock on Ruby and Dodging Bullets at Kempton Park in a 2 mile Listed heat on Sunday. A nice win against some very creditable opposition, at the weekend, should see that 8/1 you have obtained contract somewhat.
Well I’m on saying people who take very, very short prices against animals, 5 months in advance of the meeting, should be sectioned may I add, that in my view, so should anyone who wagers on the ‘Ryanair’ at this stage. It’s very much a consolation race, in my opinion, and for the vast majority who run in it they do so only as a last resort if for some reason connections turn down the opportunity to go for the CGC, Champion Chase or even Champion Hurdle. Troops, no horse is hardly ever trained for the race.
I’ve no wagers in my ‘ante-post locker’ at the moment but should this situation alter, don’t fret pilgrims, I will advise accordingly.
