Exactly what I am thinking. But I saw articles today stating Vertonghen wanted to go to Spurs so if thats the case and M'Villa's agent is playing silly buggers I doubt we will get either

M'Vila for sure. With Vertonghen, he is a 'good-to-have'-player but not Must-have at the moment. We have Vermaelen, Koscielny, Mertesacker and Djourou...that means that we could end up with 2 centrebacks with wages of at least 60k hardly getting any games. Vertonghen is a class defender, but before we spend another ~£10m on a centre-back we should look for a creative attacking midfielder.
Agree with this but tbh can't see us getting a creative midfielder now that eriksen and gotze are no goes. Seems like it'll be wilshere as creative mid with maybe ozzy getting a few chances down the road
Think it's a must that we get both, as we don't seem to have any other clubs to compete with to sign them apart from maybe spurs for vertonghen, i would like to see both them come to the emirates and if we could get eriksen aswel and keep rvp that would be a good summer's business with us already having signed podolski.
Done deal? Source? We need the reinforcements if we hope to challenge for the league. I can only see the top teams of Man City(not that they need to), Man U, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool all strengthening. Even Newcastle will strengthen further if they get a top 4 birth.

We're always hearing this. I will prefer to wait and see what happens after the season has ended. Nothing will be confirmed before then anyway, despite what the press say.
OP asked what you think will happen. I find it hard to believe most of you THINK we will get both. I think some people voted on what they think we should do rather than what they think will happen?
I was quite surprised myself at the results up.till now though provided we get cl football do think we will get both but there wont be much other activity
Neither. I am sure Wenger thinks that we do not need another DM, as we have Song, Coquelin and Frimpong. Even less we need Vertonghen having Kos and Vermalen as a cert stating DC duo plus Per. Wenger never buys to improve on something that is already good or decent. He only buys if there is a real problem. I guess his priority will be a new playmaker, but with any high quality playmaker costing an arm and a leg and Wilshere coming back from injury we are almost certain not to buy anyone. We may get another back up goalkeeper if Fabianski is hell bent to leave but apart from that our transfer window has been closed already.
