Good point considering the changes against palace on sat, but have to back it up with a vital win against Doncaster tomorrow evening. Hope hendo makes it and were up for it unlike our last home outing because one defeat at home is disapointing but two in a row at our fortress sets alarm bells ringing!!. good defensive display at palace but still got exposed at left back with pace thats a worry by our new signing. think the game tomorrow will be tight as donny needs the points but ill go 2-0 to the lions.
I hope we're not going to be relying on Hendo for the rest of the season as our only hope to score goals.
Me too as we'll be disappointed I think. Need Bouazza to have a threat down both flanks as they just have to mark Feeney out and we have no other options of note. Don't think Marquis is yet up to the standard - works hard but huff 'n puff isn't enough esp with us perilously close to the relegation zone. One point out of 9 for us, 3 tough games to come and BC on fire is worrying.
that was bloody had work - did we deserve the win? on the balance of things I s'pose so, but we do make heavy weather of things....we must learn to pass to our players that are facing the right way!! ! got tired of counting how many passes were made to players with their backs to goal! Lumping the ball up to Marquis doesn't work - he only got two all night and they went straight to the opposition! Marked improvement when Hendo came on, but it's frightening to think that we might have to rely on him all season!
