As we await the visit of Crystal Palace this weekend, my thoughts are of a similar match, albeit decades ago when a certain big Mal brought his team to Ninian Park in a vital winner takes all game. That time the issue was survival, this time 'erm survival again! We managed a 1-0 success then and of course the same outcome would be most acceptable. In the meantime however, I do not watch a great deal of television these days, but I would like to draw your attention to a couple of programmes currently pissing me off: W1A Do not watch this if you are of a nervous disposition. It is guaranteed to get any taxpayer fuming! Brilliantly acted and humorous, but frightingly real I fear! Even more scary is this one: Invasion Of The Job Snatchers Fug me!
Was that the one with the Tony Villars winner about 74? There was also a massive 1-0 win at Selhurst Park in 76 when we won 1-0 to go a long way to sending City up and keeping them back in div 3. Then of course our League Cup semi final win. City still owe them big time for that limp, pathetic, gutless, hopeless 2-0 defeat last December.
