I see the game v Charlton as a NOT lose game.
I know it's fairly early in the season to panic, but we had the same problem last season, where we start to drift away from safety and becomes more difficult to catch up. ( we did it last season......JUST).

My mind is mixed, like quite a few others, that you want it to work, but more defeats would make me lose total confidence in our manager & players.

Most of you knew my views over the last couple of years that I didn't want Millen & I didn't want Del. Nothing against Del as a person, just not tried or tested at this level.

Different views & opinions have been splattered on different threads, but most people with common sense must realise we (the club) should do everything in it's power to avoid relegation.
There were those saying, that the club maybe financally better off if we go down than to pay off Del and get a new manager in.....really what planet are they from?
League 1 would bring no guarantee of promotion the following season.
    Gates will fall.
    TV money would fall.
    Stadium plans, shelved.
Oh, and SL could lose all interest in the club.

Yes, you may feel this is yet another negative article, but IMO there's no point in crying over spilt milk.......
By the way, a lot of you will say, "there's no point in chopping and changing managers" but needs must, if it's for the good of the club.

NB. Although I am really grateful to SL for the finances he's put into the club, his record for appointing managers has a lot to be desired.......If you need some help SL, give me a shout.....lol..only joking!!

Hopefully this article will be totally ignored if we get a good win over Charlton tomorrow..

Hear hear. Great businessman, saviour of the club financially, but appears to know little/nothing about football, still ! Many, many bad decisions over the last few years.

    I think we'll get a point tomorrow.

Thank you Palace & Huddersfield, shame about the Ipswich result..though we can't rely on other teams to fail.
We are in exactly the same position as we were last season..

    Over to you Del.

    I see Watford struggled!!

I'd be very anxious with the table were we to lose today, would take a point, 1-1 for me, Hulse for us, no idea who your goalscorers are.

I don't think we can be happy with a point! Today we need to win, so when we play Blackpool the players know a win could get us out of relegation. Its the next 2 away games we should be worried about

All games are must win, if you go into a game expecting to lose then the mind set has 2 negatives working against 1 positive

and as for avoiding relagation last season...we did... Portsmouth who had 10 pts deducted moved us up a place to miss it by 1 pt lucky old Barnsley!

    After 16 games last season we had 13pts ===== W 3 D 4 L 9 GF 14 GA 27 IN 22nd 3 pts behind Watford this season we will be on 14pts W 4 D 2 L 10 GF SO FAR 24 GA SO FAR 31 IN 22ND 1 pt behind Barnsley
