...Ahead of Dubai: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/tennis/buoyant-murray-says-skys-the-limit-7441040.html With our Andy now presumably settled with his new trainer and on the hard surface he seems comfortable with, maybe we will see him take this title and further improve his ranking.
Hello! Murray really struggled to overcome German qualifier today. He beat Michaer Berrer 6-3 4-6 6-4. Hope it's just a bit of rustiness and he can go on and win the Dubai Championship. If he does he'll most likely face having to beat Djokovic.
Hello ST, thanks for the update. It is not at all unusual for the best players to start with a struggle as you will be aware, I'm sure he is a little rusty as this is his first tournament since the AO, HOWEVER I really can't see him beating Djokovic at any stage...unless Djokovic picks up an injury somewhere along the line. Good to see you back here ST, I have been looking in on you on occasion on GC
Has he been a bad boy? Watched some of Murray's match today, wasn't the best but the main thing is he got through. He plays another qualifier in the next round after Marco Chiudinelli beat Nikolay Davydenko in 3 sets earlier today. I think that'll be an easier match for him
He has indeed but not as bad as you Can't help smiling at some of the stuff on GC, it is a typical boys' club and Tina is definately a bloke.
Murray reaches the last eight after beating Swiss qualifier Marco Chiudinelli in 1hr 23mins in round 2 in Dubai. Next up 5th seed Tomas Berdych
