I hope not. Top players like Fed and Rafa got to the top because they reached a level of playing well consistently. Hopefully, Murray can do that too.
I fancy Murray to win this one too and make it 4 tournaments in a row He should take care of Berdych today and then will probably face Fed in the semis which I also think won't be a problem for him, Federer did win his hometown tournament Basel last week but he didn't come up against any tough players so I still expect Murray to beat him, possibly in 3 sets.
I didn't expect him to lose that one, it's the sort of match we're used to seeing him grind out and get the win in the end. Berdych did play well in spells but Murray at his best should still have won that match. Maybe he just took his eye off the ball a bit with it being so close to the end of the year. Hopefully he can up his game again for the tour finals in London
I agree, this is exactly Murray's kind of tournament, he seems to have belief he can take these. A little complacent maybe?
