Danny Murphy was asked about Fulham by Brazill, just said he now has no real contact with Fulham nowadays they have distance themselves, not being run very well and certain people in certain positions think they can walk on water at Fulham? He said he loves the club still and the owner has a difficult time ahead. Thinks Symons is doing his best under the circumstances. Could he have been talking about Mackintosh and Rigg. For me how Mackintosh has kept his job after all the debacles he has overseen is he the man walking on water? It could be that now Rigg has come in, may be Murphy being in the media has been shunned as someone who may talk too much. It would seem Fulhams media profile is at an all time low
Seems a bit weird that he's asked to be part of the panel to choose the successor to Magath and now says certain people are walking on water and the club isn't run well? I am inclined to believe what he says though. There's something not right at Fulham at the moment. Did the merry go round of Jol, Muelensteen and Magath plus a new owner tear the heart out of the club? We do seem rudderless at the moment, in all areas. It's easily fixed but needs people to wake up and smell the coffee.
Guess he's mainly referring to Rigg who claims to be in daily contact with Khan and in reality has been given a free hand in absentia. No doubt Rigg is keen not allow any 'old boy' faction to develop. As to the media, we've never had a positive focus since Dickson Etuhu's profile page in the Evening Standard Back in 2010.
