Some encouraging words from the Swindon manager Cooper I also had a wee trawl through the match day thread on "The Townend.com" and they had this to say; "New lad Murphy seemed to do well, dangerous on the ball and hit a good strike late on. Not easy on debut, away from home, in those conditions and only a goal up to settle in but did so." Today we had a strong bench for the first time in the while and Murphy looked very useful / not overawed by his debut or the conditions. Sounds like a solid first appearance for the lad. Hopefully it'll be good solid experience and he'll continue to get some game time. bah!
Very pleasing to hear that, hopefully he can get to the point of starting a game or two whilst he's there, just a shame it's only for a month! Anyone know if youth loans can be easily extended? At the moment it looks like he's behind his brother in the pecking order in Hughton's mind, so hopefully this is a chance for him to catch up in terms of development.
I think it has more to do with us having more options on the right in front of Jacob. The left has been slightly thinner in terms of options this year, arguably forcing us to play Redmond there (I think he is best on the right)
