I had hoped by now we would have stopped the rot of recent years but it goes on and on. The road back has a massive incline on it at the moment.
Sorry Smug I normally respect your thoughts and posts but really the player has not progressed as we would have expected , a little bit small and lightweight and that’s a fact . Other than that you would probably not have recognised him in any case As we have seen so little of him in recent months which says it all .
Havnt seen much of anybody these past few months. He must have something about him if Norwich are gonna get him
Our club now has the vibe of Coventry a few years ago.... I just wonder if the crowds really do dwindle to a point where actually playing games at the SOL becomes non viable ...The running costs of our stadium must be huge and not really compatible with a mid table league one club.... just a thought
That is like saying sell the home you own and pay to rent somewhere else. ****ing hell that's probably something even somebody as stupid as Donald and Co. would see as throwing money away. Isn't it?
It’s all about simple economics DH4.... absolutely no different if you live in a big house and suddenly find your income can’t sustain the running cost.... not saying it will happen, but it has happened in the past with other clubs... all depends on crowd size I would imagine... our parachute payments have gone, our commercial side must be taking a huge hit, so if people are not coming through the turnstiles we MAY have a problem
I'm sure it won't get to that stage, but for me it highlights the importance of the club having new owners asap. The apathy among fans right now is tangible...we need some light at the end of this tunnel, and hopefully someone buys us and gives us all a little hope
I for one am disillusioned with football at the moment, but it is more to do with the decisions being made by the EFL and the FA which are so inconsistent and vary league by league and competition by competition. South Shields challenged their league being null and void and the legal costs are said to be around £200,000, yet other leagues are working on a points per game basis in general. The same applies to promotion and relegation, which is happening in some leagues but not others. It’s an utter shambles and an utter disgrace that all of the so called pyramid is not being treated in the same way. I think that our pyramid must have been built by Bodgett & Scarper !!!
