More balance in the side and liked the look of Vaughan and Gardner as our two central midfielders.

Good win and its a start but we need to get into a bit of form now and keep the points ticking over especially with a trip to Norwich and then WBA coming to the SoL before we head to the Emirates.

Great performance by everyone today so surely unless anyone gets injured between now and the next game it should be the same XI that takes to the field at Norwich.

Best bit of transfer business anywhere in Britain this summer to me was selling Hendo for £16m and getting Larsson on a free. Every time that guy gets a dead ball he is a bundle of trouble for the opposition. Whatever we think about Bruce (and it varies between us pretty widely) he does play the market well.

He certainly does play the market well!
What a BRILLIANT performance today. I know We can't have that every week, I know, but it really does feel good when a Sunderland team does that, doesn't it.
    Well done, everyone concerned!
