Fulham Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of promising young talent, Muamer Tankovic, from Swedish side IFK Norrkoping on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee. Tankovic will remain at Craven Cottage until at least the summer of 2014. The 16-year-old forward has attracted plenty of interest from a number of top European clubs following his impressive performances for his club and Swedish U16s side. He scored two goals for his national team, the first from a free kick on six minutes, in a 3-1 win against Wales in May. Good spot, von haig, and welcome to the board. Does anyone have any insight about Tankovic? He's so under the radar that there isn't even a wikipedia page about him yet. In the absence of other evidence, we'll have to assume this is yet another to add to the list of talented youngsters that the club is assembling for future world domination. Mwahaha!
We are starting to get a good set of youngsters with potential, lets hope some of them can see their way through to the senior squad like Briggs has done, and Kerim Frei did well in his performances in the Europa prelims. In years gone by we seem not to have brought them through as often as would be hoped, but this present bunch there are already players who could force their way into the 1st team squad in all positions if need be. There's Dan Burn who we got from Doncaster and Tom Donegan from Everton, Alex Kacaniklic from Liverpool and along with like Etheridge and Marcello Trotta. Also with those sent out on loan like: Marsh-Brown, Hoesen, Dalla Valle, Richard Barroilhet. All seem good prospect but only time will tell. and to add now Muamer Tankovic lets hope some of them come through for us.
Hopefully, this kid has the size and power to be worthy of his name. I got talked into riding in a tank this summer, a Russian cold-war model. It was one of the worst experiences of my life ... the East German driver decided to show all of us (11 howling teenagers and a 49-year-old man with bad knees) just what that baby could do. I'd rather shot out of a cannon than go through that again.
