The Press are speculating that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar has won the 'battle' to buy MU. Sheikh Jassim WAS the crown Prince but abdicated his position, apparantly because he didn't fancy the job of being Ruler. Among other thing he is recieved his Military training at Sandhurst. It will be interesting to what The Premier League, and indeed The Government view this takeover. The Internet has his Net Worth down as ONLY $1 billion. He has though claimed that he intends to make MU the most successfull Club in World Football. So we can assume that MU Fans will be in favour, particularly as the current debt incurred by The Glazzers, will be expunged. Recently Qatar and Saudi Arabia were at loggerheads, as they fought for influence in the Area. This has now been patched up and Diplomatic Relations reinstated. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...-Sheikh-Jassim-Qatar-Glazer-Sir-Jim-Ratcliffe
