i think reality is crueler. he comes home after 2 years of getting pissed up, cant find a job "because there's just nothing out there mum", signs on the dole and shuts himself up in his old room. fast forward 30 years and the fat **** is still upstairs, she's still paying off the mortgage and all she's got to show for it is hearing her twat of a son tell the same "when i was in america...." story for the 1000th time FYI in the end she kills herself.
