I was in Cardiff last year and went into the club shop to get a shirt, I just could not buy a red shirt. There were plenty there but I couldn't do it.
I know why VT has changed the colour, he's made it clear, I understand £100 million is a lot of money but I can't see me parting with my cash for a red shirt. Oh and the missus says red clashes with my hair.

We have 3 red shirts in our house, been an attending supporter for over 40 years, move on people, I don't think it would take a rocket scientist to work out who the people were who boo'd Mr Tan.
I really do not understand why this Blue Red thing is once again rearing its ugly head. Its RED its going to stay RED until Tan leaves, any new buyer is likely to be a foreigner and would probably leave it at RED.
    This really does beggar belief.

Ronnie, I am not against the change to red and the benefits are clear to see, personally I just couldn't bring myself to buy a red shirt.
I think VT did well in his speech and I do not think the blue brigade hijacked his speech, light hearted banter from both sides but VT clearly states the red will remain as will the bluebird.
The red-blue debate will continue for a little while longer but there will be acceptance in the end albeit begrudgingly.

Agree about the badge, looks like it was designed at play school.

.....ps Ronnie you can stick 2 red and I`ll dream of being blue again <ok>.....that's why I put this up....its still fresh at our club and we can still debate why such a rebrand was needed...yeah <ok>.....lets be honest if it was such a lucky colour for Asians....surely the national team would wear it.?????.

    Blue is our identity.

I didnt boo VT as he saved our club.

    However red isnt right.

I see this as a short term thing.

If people want to wear red though then ive no problem.

My son wanted a red top. I told him id get the blue and the black.

Then my father went and bought him one anyway.

The badge though is absolute sh!t. Surely they could have come up with something better.

The badge does suck the big one. Bloody awful. Has been likened to a beer mat.

I've got a red shirt with the new badge and a Blue from 2011/12 season with the Bluebird.

I've worn both this season and it does not bother me either way.

Im with Ronnie to be honest - time to move on. Also, re the speech, was Tan high? Talking about dragons protecting bluebirds?? Aber, are you involved in this? Lol

Also Id just add, i dont think anyone is saying if you don't embrace red you're an AA bitch, just AA et al were never going to get behind Tan so its no surprise they boo'd.

So sad that a few fans who have supported Cardiff for many years decided that no longer would they go to games because of a change in the kit, albeit a big change from red to blue. I find it a bit hard to understand really, were they following the colour or the club?
I follow the club not the colour, they can play in purple for all I care ( I quite like purple) they will always be the bluebirds to me anyway, It isn't the colour, it's the idea that we keep hold of, it's not like wolves actually kit out in anything that resembles a wolf or Leicester foxes for that matter.
It's hard to question the loyalty of the fans who decided to no longer cheer on the team, but as they used to say back in the day, it does seem they are cutting off their noses to spite their face!

its identity init, its not a colour issue for me either....im just saying I don't see the need for the rebrand <ok>.....if someone can give a valid reason why a change of colour was needed, then that would be cool enough for me,but for the life of me I cant find one for this end of the market or the Asian one.

sbff tiz a pity, but they got replaced by a new fan>>>>>and guess what the new fan has MONEY and lots of it <ok>....but that`s the game these days for you init <ok>

pont I couldn't give a toss about (aa)....like tan said it sound`s fking silly singing songs sung from the terraces years ago about a team in blue(which we were) and how they don't really work with a team in red>>>>>so myself I`d say its easier for tan 2 change the kit back, than someone make up new songs <whistle>

also I don't really want some fkr have a lavish play around with my clubs finances like sam the scam did>>>>>he said he would end up on the street because we would spend all his money>>>>>fking lying ****>>>>.the fkr was putting in the fking **** at our cost not at his....and lets be honest if tan does the same we are fkd..........so I`d say yeah this is a big issue for me tbh.
