It has come to my attention that in the television production of Roger Hargreaves seminal childrens book series " Mr Men ", the producers have chosen to give the character " Mr Messy " - and Mr Messy alone - a scouse accent. Surely this is an attempt at a terrible slur on the good people of Liverpool?
