I know it is just Colwyn Bay, but he has undisputedly taken no hopers into safety. I always thought Frank would ermmm struggle in a non-footie job, and I saw him as maybe a bog standard coach as he does have vast experience and obviously a steely drive. What has surprised me is his ambition and ability to motivate other. I saw Frank as a loyal often dependable foot solider who even in error was trying his best. Lewisham born I think. Future Chelsea and England manager????

BTW a comma between Sir and Frank, makes all the difference, but who knows in 40 years time!
 
I went to school with him :) was in my year :D He was the first one to work out you had to charge me down before I could get my shot off :P

Misread the Title at first, thought it said Mr. Mannering Sir, Frank Sinclair!!! Glad to hear he's going well. Proves good managers can pop up anywhere. Wish we'd look closer at Managers who lift ordinary teams, and not just those who manage superstars.
 
I know bugger all about Colwyn Bay apart from the fact that it is a coastal resort in Wales! If Frank has done the biz, then God bless him. A true Blue!
 
That is the pertinent point really. His management has made a difference. No money to spend to fix the problems, having to use the same squad that has been so abject before he came. Chelsea have made that mistake so many times before, letting that type of manager go. Ken Shellito and Eddie McCredie being the most notable, Dave Sexton, and of course Dario Grady.

Finding out Eddie Mac had left was a JFK moment for me
 
Dave Sexton suffered the same fate as AVB--i.e a players boycott! Sometimes I wonder how these things never seem to come back on the players! When I see what AVB has achieved elsewhere it makes me feel a bit narked!
