Shad Khan flew into London during the international break and met up with people at Motspur Park. A reasonable assumption is that the penny has finally dropped and he now understands that in English football failure can be costly. Unlike the NFL, where the Jacksonville Jaguars continue to make money despite having dismal results since Khan acquired them in 2011. So has he popped over to protect his investment here and give everyone moral support ahead of Saturday's crucial match against MK Dons? Conversely there could be another motive. Today Slavi is reported in the local paper as saying "I need new players, but I want to stick with (some) old players – this is nothing strange and a normal process, and with fresh investment we’re going to bring in fresh blood." Is it possible therefore that Khan is in fact over to discuss our FFP status and, and being an optimist, planning for the future? Of course he may simply have come over for the Boat Race!
What the fans would like to see from Khan would be a bit of cheque book waving, and some decisions on our failed managerial set up
