Just in case i upset NP I am not, repeat not even going to mention his name after the game this weekend.

Dont want to annoy the Harper supporters any more, they can get quite irate at times.

Looking forward to the game, taking my crash helmet this week as i am in the East stand close enough to North stand to get hit on the head with something thrown by the psycho's of Millwall. I'm sure the stewards will understand !! LOL !!

Anyway my prediction for Saturday Tigers 3 - 1 Millwall thugs !!

C.F.E I have been a true vociferous supporter of my home town club since the first game i went to see 1970.

If that isn't a supporter i guess i dont know what one is.????

All i can say is if you have a rant about someone in a city shirt your not a true supporter

get behind the lads through thick and thin times

Surely depends what the rant is about and when it's being made? Wearing the shirt shouldn't make people immune from criticism, I was regularly getting on at Stuart Green for not tackling or even going near a man for a start. When he got stuck in I'd be one of the first encouraging him as well.

It's also not a big stretch to go from "don't rant about anybody in the shirt" to "don't rant about anybody at the club" which opens the door to Dolan, Lloyd, Hinchcliffe, Buchanan and Duffen as people we should have supported regardless.

If there's a player that fans don't feel is contributing to the side and is playing at the expense of people who could then there's nothing wrong with them expressing that, although I don't think during the game itself is the time to do that.

With Harper I don't see what he contributes but obviously NP is seeing something. Instead of him the other week just telling us we're wrong in questionning his contribution he could have continued to say what it was he offered. That way at least fans are given the opportunity to see it for themselves and there's a chance of their views changing when they understand it.
