...and begin the seduction. I don't care how unlikely it is that Guardiola will join, I expect to see you with a random guitar player under his balcony! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18202900 Comprende? p.s. Make sure you get there before Roman gets him onto his boat.....
Let's hope it's not a random guitarist from one of those Godawful Manc bands like Back Order or The Insipid Carpets.
I personally don't see the big fascination with Guardiola. Fair enough, he was in charge during Barcelona's most successful season / period but the vast majority of players were already at the club, add in a bucket load of cash to enable you to get just about any player you want too and it is a extremely strong base to be starting with. Lets see how he copes with having to build a side rather than taking an already very good side and seeing them to greatness.
At the same time he has experience at the very top, the right idea and philosophy to play good football and can do wonders with an academy such as ours. Also he could attract big names. Doesn't make a difference anyhow, he will not be coming to Liverpool.
I agree but I just don't see the 'he's said he might come out retirement so forget everyone else' attitude. He would be another option but not a certainty to be the right man IMO
I think the only manager that would make me genuinely think "hang on, we could really win something big here in the next 2 years" is Mourinho. That's judging from his CV at several different clubs. At the same time I would also be thinking that he would be on his way somewhere else in 2/3 years. Everyone else there is a certain amount of more risk, including Pep.
just got in Right it is 1 of them "a mate who has inside info" and i can hear you going "whatever" but he has been right in the past, he say's that he's been told that it is a done deal
