AKA Jack Colback, bit of an unsung hero for me, goes about his business quietly but does the simple things really well, he has a good passing range and a bit of pace. He looks better each game he plays imo and is starting to venture forwards now and again which must be due to confidence. Keep playing him Brucie and well done Jack.

Watched him for a while now, reserves etc. Like you say nowt fancy but effective. Hope he turns into a scholes type player. With better tackling skills (which wouldnt be difficult)

Youngsters being blooded and stepping up with performances is one of the brighter moments in the second half of this season.

Colback was my man of the match today. He controlled the midfield today and kept everything calm and simple.

Colback looks very comfortable indeed in the premiership even though we were horrendous last week he still looked half decent. I think his sunderland roots have shone through and he looks like he wants us to get out of the rut.

And LOL at the pathetic mag's attempt at winning above! <laugh>

Im really impressed with our academy, done really well with Hendo, Meyler & Collback.

Saved us allot of money, we also have other potentials like Noble & Billy Knott who I think Bruce will start bringing into the team soon.

But you Collback does look decent, surprisingly how well composed he is on the ball for some 1 so inexperienced.
