Dear syd, With the penalty shout the right decision was made. There wasnât any real clarity on it even after seeing a replay. It was a handball, we could all see that. Ultimately weâve got no complaints. Itâs such a shame for Wes [Brown] to score on own goal; we seem to make a habit of conceding own goals at Old Trafford. Itâs especially disappointing because the back four and the goalkeeper were terrific today. Defensively we were excellent. I canât remember ever being as comfortable in a first half against a Manchester United team, but unfortunately we fell to a set piece. We posed a real threat and itâs disappointing because when you play so well here youâve got to take your chances, but unfortunately we never managed to do that. Keiren Westwood has been knocking on my door looking to get a chance in the team and he played very well today. All of those training sessions heâs put in have paid off for him today. As always, the fans were great. The support for our club is fantastic, they travelled in numbers to see their team and they can be pleased with them today. We werenât quite good enough to get something out of it but certainly gave a good performance. All the best, Steve Bruce
Dear Syd whilst i haven't got a clue how to manage a team, on my credentials you cant deny i have a talent for spotting a good un, shame i haven't got a ****ing clue where to play them or a plan b, WTF.......... its going to cost them a fortune to get rid so they'll just have to put up with me, even though with me in charge well never beat the skunks, as it would spoil my orgasms watching them win, why do ****ers like ****ue get the breaks and i don't not ****ing fair. any way if i make the makems loose too many itll spoil my credentials, but thers no way in the creation of crows ****e im letting these ****ers get into Europe. xxxxxxxxxxx bacon nose or brucies bacon beak

That a pity rog, played very well today and IMO deserved a point, well done everyon, including Bruce from me.
Brucie is, IMO, doing just enough in every game to preserve his job. Which is fine with me. Probably not for most Sunderland fans.
If you watched MOTD tonight you would have seen a few good reasons why SB should go. Swansea, Norwich and Newcastle all play more attractive football than Sunderland. Steve Bruce plays fear football and has done everywhere he has been and it is i am sorry to say dreadful to watch
We may have played fairly well but its still another defeat and another nail in steve bruces coffin.Anything less than 6 points in our next two home games(fulham and wigan) and it could be curtains for bruce. Just to reiterate - Steve Bruce plays fear football and has done everywhere he has been and it is i am sorry to say dreadful to watch
but you cant do that, did you watch MOTD you asked, we say yes and it was good and you say yes, but did you see last week. we have been playing with fear, not fear football, because of pressure. Today we played well IMO.
Yesterday's result was yet another defeat as most of us expected.and when you go in to any game expecting to lose then it is admitting the team is not good and it is the managers job to turn this around. I am not a Bruce knocker but he has brought us on as far as he can and it is patently obvious he has reached the limit of his ability. I said at the start he would only be able to take us so far and I am being proved right week in and week out. If the club is to move on to the next level Bruce must go and a manager capable of moving us forward must be installed Like it or not the fact is the mags have got their season off off to a great start and any right minded Sunderland supporter (Me included) must be really envious.
