With this number of people having signed our official petition, a call to rethink the law requiring Britain to spend a fixed percentage of its national wealth on aid must now be considered for discussion in the Commons. Former Tory Chancellor Lord Lawson and Event columnist Piers Morgan are among those who have added their voices to the incredible groundswell of support for the campaign, which has drawn an amazing 150 signatories a minute.
