Moyes To Return To Goodison?

Discussion in 'Everton' started by Hoddle is a god, Oct 23, 2017.

  1. Hey, lads, I'm not here to wum.

    Commiserations on losing Koeman. He was a good bloke, and I think he could have taken you far. It just wasn't meant to be.

    I was listening to TalkSport, on the radio, driving back home, earlier, to the Adrian Durham and Darren Gough show. Those lads have their fingers on the pulse of footy, like. Anyway, they were discussing the sacking and wondering who would take over. Apparently, your owners have a short list that includes the likes of Allardyce, Dyche, and Pardew. All of those names will be welcome relief to you lads, I bet!

    The name that really surprised me, was that of Moyes!

    I hadn't actually thought about him. Is he in a job, at the moment? If not, he'd be a good call.

    He knows the club, and he knows your star player - Rooney. I can see that working.

    Sure, you'd have to give up any ambition of ever getting back in Europe, but at least you won't find yourself scrapping around in the relegation zone. Small steps first, eh, lads!

    Another surprising name that came up - put forward by one of your own fans, during the call-in - was Rafa Benitez. The fan said he'd take Rafa "in a heartbeat!" I couldn't believe my ears! That would be like us Yiddos saying we'd take Wenger in a heartbeat! No ****ing way!

    Anyway...

    My question for debate is this - would you lads like to see Moyes return home?

    If not, why not?

    First, you listen to talk sport?

    Secondly the names on the list are not who we would be looking at, think the deal is almost done with the firing squad all being at the game. Koeman knee the game was up looking at his comments in the press conference.

    He's a worse wum than you Nige.

    You share a hatred of all things Gooner though.

  9. "Hate" is a strong word, Tobias. I don't hate anything or anyone.

    I find the current plight of Arsenal, and the reaction of formally arrogant Gooners hilarious! Hatred could not be further from my mind.

  11. What?

    Me "hate" Skiddy?

    <laugh>

    You should take up comedy for a living, Tobias! You'd be a star!

    Nah, I could no more hate Skiddy that I could the poor unfortunate window-licker who gets on the bus when it's at its most packed, gets his knob out, and starts screaming at people to tell it the time. I found him an embarrassment. You'll know that I've had the imbecile on IGNORE for a while. I'm sure most of us do. It is difficult for me to feel anything but pity for a creature so clearly hampered by the paucity of its intelligence.

    You've got to admit that it's very easy to hate Skiddy

    But if you don't hate anyone or anything then it's impossible for you hate him, therefore it wouldn't be 'easy' at all, mate.

    @PISKIE 3 points please mate <ok>

  15. I didn't say it was "impossible" to hate, Tobias. I said that I don't hate anyone or anything. I laugh at them. You know I do.

    @PISKIE Tobias has ****ed up again, being too hasty to judge without reading what's written. Give him double "**** up" points in your tragic poll, mate. There's a sport!

  20. Everton want former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti to come back to the Premier League and be their new boss, but the Italian wants Swansea boss Paul Clement as his assistant. (Sun)

    Well, I guess that means "goodbye" to Unsworth.

    Will you lads miss him?
