So... What happened here then? Moyes was brought in to basically continue the fergie way. No need for £200million spending sprees, mass changes etc etc.... What changed? If we are now giving the man we brought in so we didnt have to spend insane sums. The man who would work well with what we already have and keep the traditions ( how many times have united gone on £200million spending sprees? Far to many I suspect, tradition and all that )..... are we just admitting we made a mistake? Why not just sack him if hes not the man we thought we needed and actually bring in someone who we know can spend that sort of money and get results? If we knew this last season would Moyes have got the job? Surely not. From the safe option to the biggest possible risk weve ever taken. Some going that for Moyes.
