They need someone who has managed the Championship with a view to letting him go if they come up. Letting him go because I don't think they will attract anyone who's good enough to keep them in the PL yet will take charge of them as things stand. A specialist manager because I think the Championship is a tough league to get out of.

Mackems are a mess off the pitch. Broken by debt and an owner who wants out. Pickford aside they have no saleable assets so need big investment ASAP. The average manager stays for 10-11 months so they keep lurching from one disaster to the next. Hiring and firing.
Dude, we were never coming straight back up anyway. Our problems run a lot deeper then the pitch and dug out. We're riddled with debt with the creditors calling it in in 2019. We can't afford a year one promotion. We'll be nowhere near regardless of who is in charge.
