Are you ****ting me. How can you feel sorry for a club that has won lots of trophies recently. Everton are often in this position and are you sorry for them?

I would only feel sorry for Man U 'fans' if they were in league 1 and threatened with the prospect of relegation. However by this time most 'fans' would've deserted you.

I feel sorry for fans of Portsmouth and teams in a similar position to them.

 

Fair enough. But you have to say most United users on this forum are taking it with good grace

 

They are more humble in defeat than Liverpool have been in victory!

 

Think a lot of the United fans on here have done themselves a lot of credit compared to some of the over sensitive lot from other boards.

Can't really feel sorry for a club whose had as much success as them though. Things go in cycles and they couldn't go on winning forever.

Yeah not like that's ever happened a football supporter on a forum before.

 

I think you have to factor in what supporters are used to, we are used to winning every week, and winning the title most seasons, where as Everton are used to finishing 6th or 7th most seasons.

We don't want anyone to feel sorry for us, and to be fair our supporters have taken this season remarkably well, you should have heard the noise at Old Trafford yesterday when we where 3-0 down to our biggest rivals. I can't imagine many clubs would have fans that would sing like that when they where getting thumped at home to there biggest rivals

 

Mods could have stepped in though and banned half the posters on here. If this was the Arsenal board most of us would be banned!!
