Last time it was Fergie v Mancini again but it's all change this season. Who'll come out on top ? I think Moyes will do well with Utd Same with Mourinho at Chelsea Pelligrini might struggle Wenger could either win it or finish 4th again thoughts .....
Lets not kid ourselves, we're coming 4th (as always.) 1. Chelsea 2. Citeh 3. ManUre 4. Us (with Spurs close behind)
Pellegrini is a risk because he's always managed in Spanish speaking countries. He has done some incredible things at Villarreal and Malaga though. He wasn't exactly a failure at Madrid either.
I think Moyes and Pelligrini both still have a bit to do. It is one thing to punch above your weight and not win, quite another to win with a winning team. Wenger's record is far better than all of them. For me its going to be Arsenal/Chelsea either way round in the top 2 spots, Man City 3, and Man Utd scraping 4th (maybe).
I'll give you my predictions the day the transfer window shuts. With the current squads I'd put us 4th/5th
If Arsenal don't improve they will, they need to spend spend spend. Like Chelsea and City need to spend 100 million each to keep up with Man United muhahahaaa Nexts season it will end 1 Man United 2 Tottenham 3 Arsenal 4 Chelsea 5 City 6 Liverpool wishful thinking yeah? lol
If I could have a football wish come true, it would be for the top 4 of the Prem to look like this in 4 or 5 years from now: Arsenal Portsmouth Leyton Orient Burnley
41 days, 11 hours and 34 minutes until the new Premier League season......... So until then you can enjoy looking at this lol http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table
My money is on Chelsea. They had a decent squad already and have obviously bought reinforcements, Mourinho back there will give the club a huge lift and I can't help thinking that the Russian has effectively lost the power struggle simply by picking up the phone and wanting him back, he'll be under no pressure to play a certain style or have intereference with transfers. The attention seeker will be able to do things pretty much as he likes, and whilst I detest the man I must acknowledge that he is an outstanding coach and I fully expect him to come out on top. The man with the most pressure is Moyes - taking over the mantle of a club who have been used to constant success isn't easy and the plastic fans will make life hard if things don't go their way, I can really see us finishing above them. Pelligrini is not a young man, I'm convinced that if he'd been good enough someone would have taken a chance on him long before now, at almost 60 and been in management for 26 years I'm just left asking why not earlier ? Throw in a failed short stint at Real leaves me thinking does he have what it takes at the very top ? Wenger could do wonders with some reinforcements but I think it's a stretch to expect us to finish top of the pile, there's just too much talent within other clubs. I'll say we could get within 10 points of the winners finishing 3rd....
Do you seriously think you have a chance of winning the Premier League? Ain't digging .... just a bit surprised
I don't think many think it's likely but there's always optimists. I've seen it pop up on the spurs board a few times..
It was a question to the OP who mentioned wenger and Arsenal winning the prem...but thanks for the imput
