I am looking to move seats from East to South stand. I will be buying 2 additional passes for my sons also and we have a better chance of been seated together in the South then the East. I am aware I cant move seats till after 25th July , what I wondered was is the process of swapping seats an easy one or is it a long drawn out process ?. Any info be gratefully appreciated.
If last season is any indication you've got little chance. Last season we went to renew our passes as soon as we could, but asked to move out of the south which was becoming the family stand. They said we can but we'd have to wait until a certain date when renewals had had to be handed in by, where there's a small window for moving seats before they go on sale to new customers. Well they lied, they were selling to new customers whilst renewals were still being done, before that window they told us to wait for, and whenever we asked them about moving they just kept saying we'd still have to wait til that date came. When that date finally came, most, if not all the season ticket holders we had last season already had their seats secured and there was absolutely nowhere vacant to move to. Oh there was a handful of two vacant seats together and plenty of single seats, but there was not a single place anywhere in the stadium they could relocate our group of four to, so we stayed where we were. I'm hoping Allam and his name change nonsense/price raise plays in to our hands and loads decide not to bother so I can get out the south stand and not have to worry about sitting on my hands and guarding my flaming mouth, which admittedly did manage to sneak a few expletives out over the course of the season, much to my shame. Kids shouldn't be hearing it, specially not in a designated family stand. But what can you do, eh?
When I moved seat they just put seat plan up on computer and I looked for 3 seats together There wasn't that many but once you pick it's done on there computer while your at ticket office Moved from e3 to e1 as there wasn't 3 together in e3 or e2 at the time. Added E1 was only place in east stand with 3 together but that was fine for me
The Mrs took my renewal form in this morning and explained what I wanted to do , how long has he had his pass came the reply ( wonder what that has got to do with it !) anyway the Mrs was told that it shouldnt be a problem to relocate to South stand with two additional extra seats, we will wait and see.
